SHUTTLECRAFT GALILEO for FS 2000 ONLY!!
Star Trek, The Original Series

This is an update to my original Galv01.zip and Galv02.zip.
Upon further testing and a couple of disparaging e-mails,
I have realized that my wonderful creation really isn't too
good for FS98, so I am hereby designating it for FS2000 only.
It will work in FS98, but it is kind of touchy on the ground and
has some serious bleed through problems. It flies rather well, though,
so if you don't mind the drawbacks, go for it.

Thanks for downloading my version of the Shuttlecraft Galileo!
This is the first aircraft that I have uploaded for public consumption,
but not the first one I have built. I made a few with the original
flight shop, including a Galileo, but as soon as you opened Flight
Sim to fly it, it would bounce all over the place. Fortunately, Aircraft
Factory 99 seems to have eliminated this problem. This version flies great,
if I do say so myself.

General Description:

For Trekkers, this spacecraft needs no introduction.
For others (...are there any???) this is a small,
7 person spacecraft, one of several carried ny the U.S.S.
Enterprise NCC-1701. (No bloody A, B, C, or D as Scotty would say.)
It and it's sisters were used for short range missions away from the
ship or for planetary landings when the transporter system was
inoperative
or unuseable due to atmospheric interference, dampening fields,
or some other
tehnobabble explanation. Here in the 21st Century, since we do not have ready access to Dilithium crystals and anti-matter in sufficient quantities, the Galileo is limited to atmospheric flight in the Zero to Mach 1.3 or so range. The landing pads are retractible with moving parts, although I'm not sure if the original had this feature or not. I thought it looked good, so I left this feature on.

Installation:

Create a folder in your FS 2000 aircraft directory and unzip the
"galv03.zip" file to it. Doesn't get much easier than that, huh?

Legal Mumbo-Jumbo:

This aircraft is freeware, although I retain all rights to it,
except for the .air file which was designed by Shane Pickering.

Feel free to pass it on to others as long as full credit is given
to the designers and no money is made with it.

These files should cause no problems with your computer, but I
will accept no responsibility for any which may occur.

Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated and
answered.
