This is the scenery of the airport of Flores/Guatemala.
I made this scenery with my best knowledge as real as I could do it. I did not create the city of Flores and Santa Elena, the small but nice city on the Island and I also did not create the maya ruins of Tikal, because this work should be done perfectly and I don`t have enough time to do it like it should be done. Sorry!!!
First of all I wann thank my "brother" and best friend Andy Salnars. He lives in Guatemala City and every time I am there he and his family makes this time the best time that anyone can pass in Guatemala. He took me to the Maya ruins of Tikal in this old BAC 1-11, so this flight was the inspiration to do this scenery.
Thanks also to Captain Francisco Giordano, who let me enjoy the whole flights from Guatemala City to Flores and back to Guatemala City from the jump seat of the BAC1-11. He also took off from Flores and made a left turn and a sightseeing turn at 1000 feet altudude to show me the city of Santa Elenea instead of turning right back to Guatmala City. Hey capitan, te deseo siempre tres verdes!!!
