FS2002/FS2004 MITSUBISHI F-4EJ KAI Phantom II
F-4EJ of the Japan Air Self Defence Force was selected as a succession main force fighter for the airspace defense supplementation along with F-104 fighter retirement.
It was made to domestic production based on the licensing agreement with the United States Boeing company (old McDonnell Douglas Corp.).
The bombing device and the device equipped with air-to-surface arms of F-4E were detached, and it is an airframe redecorated for the air defense duty.
In 1990, It was redecorated to F-4EJ by aiming at the change of radar and the update of avionics, and extending the airframe longevity.
