**ENSURE YOU BACK-UP ALL ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE PROCEEDING! **

Modified MS FS2004 texture files are included which will permit more menacing-looking weather conditions to be created. These modifications consist of darkened cumulonimbus textures, as well as afternoon sky textures with an orange-rosy glow along the horizon. If you dont care for one or either of these effects, the original (backed-up, remember?) files may be reinstalled.

How to install:

- Extract files into a separate folder (e.g., desktop, my documents).
- Copy all files within the contained folder named "ADD TO MAIN FS TEXTURES FOLDER", and paste these into your main textures folder within FS9. I believe these textures would also work in FS2002 as they are essentially similar, however there are other alternatives for good storm effects in this version of FS (namely, FS Sky World).
- That's all there is to it. A sample flight has been included with optimum settings preset. I've found the best results are obtained by adding a layer of patchy stratus, 2000-4000 ft above ground level, followed by an overcast layer of cumulonimbus, 6000-8000 ft above that, with cloud tops at 35000 ft or above.
- The orange sky textures are most prominent at around 1700 hours, at around the height of summer. I've loaded flights at differing seasons/times of day, and the effect is not evident then, which is nice, as these textures are really only effective during stormy weather. Clear day flying is not noticeably affected outside of this timeframe.
