INTRODUCTION:

Here is a replacement panel for the Learjet 45 in FS2000. While the one that comes with the software is a great improvement, I think it still leaves something to be desired! I have converted this from FS98 and changed the panel color to match what the new panel might look like. This panel will work perfectly for the standard Learjet 45 that comes with FS2000, however with converted aircraft, the EICAS readings are kinda wrong! sorry nothing I can do about this, hope you enjoy this latest FS2000 panel..

KNOWN ISSUE'S:

With third party converted Learjets, some EICAS readings are wrong. This panel works best with the FS2000 Lear or a Learjet converted to the FS2000 model.

INSTALLATION EXAMPLE:

In your \Aircraft directory there are several folders for other A/C
as an example below Metro3. Within this there are several Sub Folders
(Model, Panel, Sound, Texture).

Now select the Aircraft Folder and make a new folder inside this
called Panel.lear45

your Folder should now look like this:

\Aircraft
|_learjet
|_Model
|_Panel
|_Sound
|_Texture
|_Panel.lear45

Now go to the learjet Folder (or whatever plane your working with) and edit the
aircraft.cfg file to look like this:

[fltsim.0]
title=learjet 45
sim=learjet
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
checklists=

[fltsim.1]
title=learjet 45 - Lear45 Panel
sim=learjet
model=
panel=lear45
sound=
texture=
checklists=

Copy all the .Gau files from the gauge.zip file to your FS2000\Gauges Directory
Copy all files from the panel.zip file to your default panel folder or the new
one you have created.

Now you will have in your A/C selection menu in FS2K a Learjet and also
and Learjet - Lear45 Panel selection! This will allow you to use either
the Original Panel that you got when you converted the Aircraft or use
the New Turbprop panel.

You can add as many Panels as you wish by doing this method. If you have
any Questions. Give me an Email

As always you can find all my panels and others on my home page.
