This scenery is designed for FS2002 but should be ok in FS2000

Wickenby is a small GA airfield 9 miles NE of Lincoln (UK).

It was formerly home to No 1 Group Lancaster bombers during the second world war, but all that remains in use now, are parts of two of the runways, and the control tower.

Today, it is the home of Wickenby Aviation, and the Lincoln Aviation flying clubs, hosting pilot training and ultralight flying.
Also on the field are a warehousing company (Rase), and Woodpecker, an animal bedding manufacturer !

Additional details in this scenery are the few remaining WW2 Nisson huts behaind the Rase yard. These used to be maintenanace workshops, but now house farm machinary, and also a chicken farm at the end of the disused main runway. Westlaby Farm is modelled, as it is a very prominant feature, and can be pinpointed by it's tall conifers.
Have fun checking them out !.

I have a number of people to thank for helping with this scenery, and are as follows:

Phil and Julia, the owners of Wickenby Airfield, for their patient help, and providing diagrams of the field, and showing me around. This project would have been a none starter without them..

(their website can be found at...http://www.lincolnaviation.flyer.co.uk/lamenu.htm

Andy Riddington for providing me with the challenge in the first place !

Chris Dale for flying me over the field in his Warrier - an invaluable contribution.

Geoff Hill the Manager of Rase Warehousing for allowing me freedom to roam his yard to photograph all of his buildings.

The staff of Woodpecker's for the same access.

The Managers and staff of the chicken farm on the disused main runway again for allowing me to photograph thier facility.

also...

Dana McGee for the Yak 18
Capt Slug for his Hang Trike
Frederic Rivet for his Jodel,
and Wolfgang Maerkle for his CT-M
The creator of the car macros - sorry lost your details. If you recognise them let me know who you are ! :-)

Installation is as follows:

Either:

Manually, create a Wickenby folder in the folder where you keep your scenery
Inside that folder create two more - one called "Scenery" and one called "Texture"

put the bgl and .xcl files into the Wickenby/scenery folder

put the textures (.bmp, .*af, .pat, and .r8) into the Wickenby/Texture folder.

Then activate the scenery from within FS as usual (no scenery.cfg amendment is needed)

or:

check the "use folder names" option when extracting the files, into the pathname on the right of the list.

This scenery is quite detailed, and can be displayed at various density levels if you have frame rate problems

To use this scenery you will need also to download Gerrish Grey's trees library. The latest version at the time of this scenery is version 2 (filename trees02.zip), and is available from www.SurClaro.

Also included is the test file "EGNW1.txt". This file is for use with the AFCAD AI traffic gereration program, and will add AI aircraft taking off from the field, and doing touch and go's. The AFCAD program is available at www.SurClaro (among other sites), and is by Lee Swordy

The usual legal stuff applies for freeware - don't use this scenery in any payware package, or any part of it without my approval.

Any problems or large cheques to show your appreciation (:-)) to the following:
