COMBAT FS - Extra DAMAGE +F I R E DP Objects With HITTABLE PIERS FIX
This is 1 additional set of 33 NEWLY UpGRADED, More Realistic damage object *.DPs for COMBAT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 1.
In addition to my PREVIOUS FireSHIP and FireLAND.zip dp objects, this set fixes the Pier0 and Pier1.DPs which will now allow CFS pier objects to burst into flames and ultimately be destroyed when hit. Also added to this set are 31 Upgraded house & building objects. Included again in this zip is a simple automated utility that will quickly Back Up ALL your Old Files and Install ALL your New Files for you. ( See Also- FireLAND/FireSHIP.zip Object Sets ).
INSTALLATION:
Again I have included a batch installer, "FIRExtra.BAT", that will backup/copy All of YOUR replaced files to C:\FIREXTRA\MyOLDps. After backing up your old files, if you want, you may also allow FIRExtra.bat to Copy your newly downloaded SHIP Objects FROM C:\FIREXTRA to your CFS\Object_dp folder. Note: This auto installation batch file only requires that "C:\FIREXTRA" is resident in your Root {C:\} directory and that Combat FS is in its' default folder - "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator".
FIRExtra.BAT will be found in the "C:\FIREXTRA" folder & it should be started from there. Using this little utility should perform the whole copy/replace operation in just under a minute.
This convenient batch installer has been added as my way of thanking you for this download and of expressing my gratitude for the warm reception so many of you have given to my previous uploaded MetalRnd.zip CFS impact sound replacement AND to my FireLAND/FireSHIP.zip Object Sets.
LIABILITY: I assume None. These files should in no way cause any harm to your game or computer.
The only thing you should worry about is becoming too distracted by all of the pyrotechnics going on in odd places instead of watching the bandits or the ground.
