down in the Sierra Nevada Mountains between
Bishop, California and Bakersfield, CA.
Your GPS has the approximate course that the
plane took. Take off from Bishop and search
the area towards the south. Backpackers
have reported seeing flares southwest of
Bishop. Includes several flights in both
spring and winter for the Cessna Caravan and
