FS2004 Aircraft-The Douglas DC-4 Skymaster version 1. Even before the Douglas DC-3 had flown, United and Douglas had started discussions regarding the development of a more advanced airliner of larger capacity, and by early 1936 had included four other airlines to help finance the construction of a prototype. This was the DC-4E originally designated the DC-4. The DC-4 was also known by it's military designation, C-54 Skymaster.
