Dinslaken Schwarze-Heide is a small airport in the northern part of the
German 'Rhein-Ruhr' area, located some miles north of Duesseldorf -
International Airport.
You may not know this small airport, but you surely know the 'Extra 300':
This plane and all other 'Extras' are manufactored and tested here at EDLD.
This scenery works with FS2000 only !!!
Recommended scenery complexity setting: VERY DENSE or higher, else the
scenery may not show up correctly.
A custom version of this airport for MS Combat FlightSim is also available.
This file is called EDLD-CFS.ZIP and can be downloaded from my homepage or
from SurClaro
INSTALLATION
------------
Unzip all folders into your FS2000 scenery directory, open the file called SCENERY.CFG
(which is located in your FS2000 main directory) with a text editor, and paste the
following lines at the end of your SCENERY.CFG:
Please replace "**" with the appropriate layer number. For example:
If the previous scenery.cfg file entry has got layer 72 for instance EDLD 2000 requires
number 73.
You can access the airport from the airport menu by selecting:
Europa --> Deutschland --> Dinslaken Schwarze Heide
IMPORTANT !!!

Please note that due to a bug in the original unpatched version of FS2000 changing
settings in the scenery library within the program will erase ALL (!!!) of your flatten
commands in your SCENERY.CFG. So better do not do it untill Microsoft has released a
patch that cures this well known problem. In the case that FS2000 has messed up your
scenery.cfg please enter the flatten coordinates given above again.

Added the new Asphalt runway and taxiways.
Added compatibility for the default MS Europe scenery.
EDLD Version 2.1 May 99
Added the function to access the airport from the FS98
airport facility database.
Lowered the range of some objects in order to improve
the performance when used with Europe 1 Pro.
EDLD-CFS May/June 99 - First release
Converted the complete scenery to a WWII airport for
Microsoft Combat FS.
EDLD 2000 Version 1.0 November 99
Complete re-design to make it compatible with FS2000.
Has full support of the new FS2000 features including
256 color textures and correct changes for all seasons.
