The elevator trim gauges are brought to you by C&K Gauges.
We are: Glenn Copeland (Iba10cn@aol.com) graphics and programming,
and me, Brian Kostick (Br5an@aol.com) programming. (in most cases)

The Auto-Coordination is brought to you by Kostidyne Systems Inc.
(Contact person: Br5an@aol.com)

About the Elevator Trim gauges: Graphics by Glenn, programming and
some graphic modification by me, Brian. Several versions/styles have
been included. It's my intention that you MAY find a combination that
works well with a given panel and meets you personal taste.
The functionallity includes: Elevator Trim up, down, and reset to 0.
One left mouse click on an up or down button increases/decreases
elevator trim by one. Double clicks have provided an adjustment of 9
ticks on two test systems. Holding down the left mouse button provides
for a more rapid adjustment and the speed at which it happens depends
on your timing and your computer system. The display range of the gauge
is from -511 to 511. This is based on an FS98 condition more than a
programmed in condition. The gauges do not affect the use of the
of the keyboard or the default mapping of numpad1 or numpad7 to adjust
elevator trim. The gauge does not affect the elevator trim at which
your aircraft may fly level. That is written into a given aircrafts
settings. If you feel the need to adjust you aircrafts elevator trim
you may want to check out ADE98 by Ian Donohoe and parameter 1121 in
the aircrafts ????.air file. This last tidbit is not intented to be
the definitive answer and I don't provide support on how to do this.

About the AutoCoord gauge: I think that the name is pretty self-
explanitory. I've not been able to access the current status of the
autocoord setting in FS98. By default the gauge loads in the on
posistion and may not always represent FS98's setting. One click of
the gauge is recommended when the panel loads. Then set to your
preference if it's not already there.

Programmer notes: I (Br5an@aol.com) am interested in help with
how to access partial-panel vars and playing a sound in a gauge (off
hand I've only chanced across HGHB gauges that do this). So far my
attempts with DirectSound have compiled but failed :( At times
I'm at a loss for original graphics. If your a graphics person in need
of a freeware gauge programmer we might be able to work together.
No promises though as this often depends on my free time and my other
work loads. Also if you've been able to work with TOTAL_AIR_TEMP
outside of the everyday MAKE_STRING sdk example I'd like to here from
you. Perhaps we could work out an equitable exchange of code or
concepts. For those that may be experiencing compile errors with the
SDK.Temp example: I can let you know how to update gauges.h which
made the errors go away for me. ;) Thanks to all gauge programmers,
including but by no means limited to Chuck Dome, HGHB, and Glenn
Copeland for their hard work, wonderful ideas/concepts, and willingness
to share with the FS community.
