[INSTALLATION]

Install the 'contents' only of the scenery folder into the FS9/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. You will probably have to overwrite any files here as they are BGL files concerning scenery. You may wish to back up your scenery folder before proceeding with this operation. However, you shouldnt have any 'copy overs' unless you downloaded my first Beta KDVT, in which those files have been improved an you definately need to overwrite them. ;) No worries...

Install the 'contents' only of the texture folder in this download into the FS9/Addon Scenery/texture folder. You shouldnt have to overwrite anything here. The 'new' graphics have new names and shouldnt be attached to anything else as they begin with 'DeerValley', except for the Rwy12 files. You should be safe.

Boot up and check out this cool airport! The restaurant is in the side of the terminal. You can find it out side in the back by the location of the tables.

[AIRPORT DATA]

The airport field has been redone with AFCAD2. The scenery was generated by Gmax and Rwy12.

There are two landmarks used for navigation in pattern in this package. One is Honeywell's complex just accross the street, mainly comprising of two major buildings. The second structure/landmark is Digital, which is another computer manufacturing complex along the freeway just south of Deer Valley, approximately 5 miles away. These structures are illuminated at night as well and thus serve for landmarks in night pattern practice.

You will find the various flight schools here, which include Cutter Aviation, Westwind Aviation, and the International PanAm Flight School.

Other features of the airport include the police helicopter port at the far east of the field where you'll find a Hughes 500 cooling down from patrol, the Honeywell executive hanger, the Cox Communications building at the west end of the field, a tremendous amount of 'proper' static aircraft and vehicles, a more detailed Control Tower, a detailed terminal building that inlcludes the little inside/outside restaurant, (they have a superb salad bar), and the roof observation deck, which is great for lunch breaks watching the traffic.

Please let me know if you find errors in this file. This is the second generation prototype before release. Look to see if you are missing components of the package via the screenshots at Lionheart Creations website for this package, which can be found here;

My thanks to Bill Lyons who helps me out when I have problems getting things to work, to Rwy12 design team and program for its awesome ability to swiftly place scenery objects into place, to Discreet and Microsoft for Gmax, a massively powerful and swift performing program that is great at making awesome scenery and aircraft, and to God who rescues me and keeps my fuel tank of Faith topped off when times get rough.

Good flying!
