***GUAM 2004***
Designed By: Derek and Brendan Webb.

*INTRODUCTION
DBWsim’s fourth scenery for Flightsim2004 covers the Marianas island of Guam in its entirety, following up our previous FS2004 sceneries for Tinian, Saipan and Rota. This scenery pack includes fully updated and improved scenery of the remnants of historical WWII airbases on the island, as well as a significantly enhanced full island landclass. There are 2 abandoned fields on the island, featuring flattened strips that can be used for landing. This is the final in our Marianas Island scenery series.

This scenery is designed to work optimally with Bill Melichar’s Guam International scenery for FS2002 (Guam.zip) and Kenneth Barrett’s New Coastline for Guam, USA scenery for FS2004 (apparently another Guam.zip). Our screenshots of our scenery are taken with both these scenery packs activated. The scenery does work without these other packs,

We have endeavoured in this scenery to represent Guam in the most accurate manner possible based on what research materials are available to us. Sometimes however it is not always possible for us to get exactly detailed information, so a degree of creative interpretation has to occur.

This scenery is optimised for FS2004, but is reverse compatible with FS2002 UNDER CEARTAIN CONDITIONS

FS2002 USERS PLEASE READ SPECIAL INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS.

*REQUIREMENTS
To use this scenery you will need:
FS2004 or FS2002 (2004 preferred)
It is recommended that you use:
Bill Melichar’s Guam International for FS2002 (This is, by our experience FS2004 compatible)
Kenneth Barrett’s New Coastline for Guam, USA scenery for FS2004
Both sceneries should be available from SurClaro.com and SurClaro

*INSTALATION
1. Unzip the file DBWsimGuam04.zip (or DBWGM04.zip if you downloaded this from SurClaro) to any temporary directory you like.
2. Copy the folder ‘Guam04’ to your favoured Flightsim 2004 scenery directory (I use ‘FS2004/Scenery’)
3. Activate the scenery using FS2004’s scenery library

*SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FS2002 USERS
1. Unzip the file DBWsimGuam04.zip (or DBWSPN04.zip if you downloaded this from SurClaro) to any temporary directory you like.
2. Copy the folder ‘Guam04’ to your favoured Flightsim 2002 scenery directory (I use ‘FS2002/Scenedb’)
3. The landclass for this scenery was designed for use with FS2004 only, it will not work with FS2002, therefore in the ‘Guam04’ folder’s ‘scenery’ subdirectory, remove the file ‘GuamLC.bgl’
4. Activate the scenery using FS2002’s scenery library
5. Make sure you have removed any previous DBWsim sceneries for Guam as the new scenery replaces this.

*USE
If the scenery installs correctly you will be able to fly in the scenery area (using FS2004) from; Country/Region: Guam, City: any, Airport: Either Guam Intl, or Anderson AFB
