FS2004 Dornier DO-328 Swisswings

Original desing by Robert Versluys. Repaint by Alejandro Hurtado

The Dornier 328-110 is a high speed regional turboprop, with excelent short field capabilities. The plane first flew on December 6 1991, and was certified in October 1993. The prototipe was coded HB-AEE, and sold to Air Engiadina for commertial service. This plane, the first prototipe, belonged to Air Engiadina (renamed Klm Alps, renamed Swisswings) until the company broke. Then, the plane was sold to Lions Air.

My d328ah27 repaint was another Air Engiadina Do-328 (HB-AEI). You can find a very good repaint of a DO 328 in Klm Alps livery, and a good other of HB-AEE in Lions Air colors. So, why don't make the another two liverys of the HB-AEE?. Well, I tried but I counld'nt find enought pictures of the plane in "house" colors. If someone has, please send me them. So this file has the remaining livery: HB-AEE (City of Berne) from Swisswings.

In some moment during the making of this model, there will happen the 50.000 download of one of my repaints. Well, thanks to every one. I beleave that there must exist at least 30.000 persons in the world who has at least one of my planes, and you can download this planes at least in eleven web sites. I only upload my planes in two, sometimes in one of another two sites. So double thanks to the people who downloaded my planes, liked, and uploaded them to another side. That makes me happy, because it confirms my conviction that every one of us can change the world if we propose. If at least one of my repaints makes you happy, makes you a better day, then it wort my work. If don't, then just I enjoyed it. By the way, if you upload my repaint in another site, let me know, so I'll can follow the number of downloads and your feedback.

Talking about colors, in almost all the pictures I have of this plane, it seems to be gray with black lettering. It's not. The pictures were taken in dark, clouded days, except one from wich I took the right colors.

This model was made by Robert Versluys, who was part of the IFDG team but made this one by himself.

Warranty:
I love the warranty wrote by Andrew W. Hall:
"None. Zip. Nada. Use at your own risk. I don’t think
this will harm your computer in any way, but if it does, I
don’t even want to hear about it."

A last remark: Why don't become a repainter? There are a lot of planes with special markings. I'm tired of the usual F-16 low-vis scheme, or the usual 757 in Delta markings. Why don't a "Bat's outa Hell's" B-25 or a serie of Qantas 737s? The plane modelers like Robert Versluys are very important, but they can't make all the painting schemes by himselfs. So why don't help they?

Installation:

Just unzip d328ah43.zip in your "Aircraft" folder of FS9 or FS2002, install your desired panel and that's all. If you don't know how to install a panel, just let the default Beech King Air 350.
