Title: Terrain Mesh Scenery for Costa Rica
This is a terrain mesh scenery for the country of Costa Rica (Central America). See enclosed CostaRica_Map.jpg for the boundaries of this scenery.
Made in LOD9 (76.4m) based on SRTM DATA (3 arc/ sec), produced with Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04".
This mesh scenery should also run in FS2002 without any problems.
This is my second terrain mesh scenery for Central America. The first one is Nicaragua-Mesh.zip. I have the intention to create also mesh scenery for the other countries of Central America.
INSTALLATION:
-------------
Simply unzip archive in a temporary directory and copy or move the .BGL files to FS2004\Addon Scenery\Scenery. Your main FS2004 folder may however have a different name of course. This is the easiest way, as the Addon Sceney\Scenery folder is active by default.
Or you can copy or move the Scenery and Texture folder in this archive to a directory of your choice and then activate
it from the World/Library menu in FS2002. In FS2004 you only can access the Scenery Library from the opening menu (see enclosed pictures Step-1.jpg and Step-2.jpg).
I like to have addon sceneries outside my FS2004 main folder, so my installation of the Nicaragua mesh looks like this:
E:\FS2004_Mesh
\Nicaragua
\Scenery
\Texture
The Texture folder in this archive is empty but it is recommended that there is a also (an empty) Texture folder in
the Nicaragua mesh directory.
