CESSNA CITATION CJ1
===================
Cessna Citation CJ1 for FS2002
3D model designed with AD2000 v2.0

The Cessna Citation CJ1 is the more recent element of the CitationJet family.
The CitationJets are among the world's best selling business jets. The CJ1 features
a new avionics suite and an increase gross weight (as well as increased payload).
The CJ1 straight wing is clean and perfectly streamlined. The undercarriage has two robust
main trailing-link main gears and a single steerable nosewheel.
As it is a small aircraft, the cockpit of the CJ1 is a tiny one. Seated in the comfortable
seat, the field of view of the pilot is large, allowing him to have a look to the leading
edge of both wings. The CJ1 is certificated for single pilot operation. Its instrumentation
is clear, easy to read, featuring two large 200 mm x 250 mm LCD multifunction displays.
Two Williams-Rolls Royce FJ44-1A engines, each of them delivering 1900 lbs (8.5 kN) of
thrust, give the CJ1 plenty of power. Yet, the CJ1 is not a long-range, high-altitude,
high-speed aircraft. Its maximum operating altitude is 41,000 ft, its maximum operating
speed is Mach 0.71 (263 kts IAS). Its range with standard fuel reserve is 2,035 km
(1264 miles).
The CJ1 also features flaps, airbrakes and thrust attenuators. The paddle-shaped thrust
attenuators swing across the engine flux after landing. The flaps, the airbrakes and the
thrust attenuators are hydraulically actuated and electrically controlled.
According to pilots who flew it, the CJ1 is a delight to fly, with excellent handling
qualities. It is easy to land and its simple and performant systems makes it a secure
single-pilot jet.
