Convair CV-240 - Pilot's Handling Notes
***************************************

SUMMARY.

The two 1675hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-CA18 Double Wasp engines are carburetted and highly supercharged to give rated power up to 13500 feet. 2400hp is available for take off (at sea level) and for two minutes in case of emergency using water/methanol injection. METO power is 1800hp to 6,000 feet. The constant speed propellers can be feathered and have reverse pitch. Automixture control is provided, but may be overidden.

Maximum fuel load is 1550 US gallons. All fuel burn figures are indicative and will vary slightly with altitude. Adjust fuel and payload using the weight and balance schedule of aircraft.cfg

The landing gear is NOT approved for use from unpaved surfaces.
