Do you ever find yourself flying a mission wondering what it would be like to watch the action from the rear position of the flying formation instead of having the burden of always being the flight group leader?
Now you can. (Keep in mind though; the rear position is not always a safe place to be.)
These CFS3 default missions have be modified to place the player aircraft in the rear position of the flight formation.
All of the missions have been renamed to prevent overwriting the originals.
Unzip the archive to a temporary location. Copy all of the files in the mod_mission folder to the default historical folder in the main CFS3 mission folder.
You will be able to tell the default missions apart form the modified mission by the title of the mission. Each of the edited missions will have a title that starts with Modified.
You may find it necessary to use the warp option to regroup the aircraft if you are unable to keep up with the flight group after take off. Until I can figure out how to control the speed of the AI aircraft this will solve the problem.
