CFS Macro - Renault AHS - API MACRO
CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle.

The Renault AHS, was a french 2-ton/4x2 truck used by allied and axis forces during WWII.

The prototype of the Renault AHS for a payload of 2 tons was presented in December 1939. It was developed as replacement for the Renault AGC for the French war production. Anyhow, serial production could not be started in 1940.

About 23,000 exemplars of this type were made at the Paris-Billancourt Renault plant, for the german Wehrmacht from 1941 to 1944 (booty and new produced ones).
Under German Occupation, the Renault factories were administrated by Prinz Von Urach (who will later be the press attaché of Daimler-Benz after WW2).

For Renault, most of the archives have disappeared during the allied bombings of 1944 but in François Vauvillier's book "l'automobile sous l'uniforme" it is indicated that about 28000 Renault trucks had been produced for the Germans during the occupation (AHS, AHN, AHR, AGC, ADK, ADH etc.).

All information to develop the api macros and the textures, was taken from the site www.o5m6.de, "Engines of the Wehrmacht", with the webmaster's permission.

I have created this api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2.2.85 (© Matthias Brückner), to generate the static Renault AHS, with use of BMP transparent textures, oriented to CFS scenery designers and that they work with Airport 2.0 or later.

This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002.

All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
