**** CESSNA 182 RG PANEL ****
=====================
Based on the original panel, but equipped with digital instruments.

Designed to fly the default Cessna 182rg with an unobstructed view,
all neccesary instruments available for VFR/IFR flights and easy accessable
navigation possibilities. Radio- and GPS-set replaced with the Garmin Gauges/GPS Set by Gerd R. Nehr.

No intention to create a real panel from any existing aircraft but just a panel
for the fun of flying without obstucting your outside view.

It started out as a project to improve a little on a downloaded FS2002-craft
and ended in a new panel as I personally liked it to be.

With so many downloadable aircraft, panels and gauges I drew my inspiration from a lot of sources.
Mostly coming from the unsurpassable site of www.SurClaro.

--- INSTALLATION ----
================

1.) Make a backup copy of the existing Folder Cessna182RG/PANEL first.
2.) Install all the GAU files in the \GAUGES subfolder of FS2002.
3.) Replace the PANEL subfolder of the defaukt Cessna 182RG
of whichever aircraft you want to use the panel.

An alternate method of installation comes from Chuck Dome:

1.) Create a new subfolder under the \AIRCRAFT subfolder of FS2002
2.) Call the new subfolder \CessnaNew.
3.) Then place the enclosed BMP and CFG files in the new subfolder.
4.) Finally, for each plane that will use the new panel, edit that plane's PANEL.CFG file
with a text editor. Specifically, you simply add the following two lines
of text at the very end of the PANEL.CFG file:

[fltsim]
alias=CessnaNew

5.) Then save the changed file.

That's all there is to it. To return to the original panel for the aircraft,
just replace the backup-folder.

Some fine gauges were extracted from specific gauges files,
others came from some favourite aircraft:

A special thanks to the gauge designers for making available freeware gauges.
