Readme file for DOUGLAS C-133B CARGOMASTER
FS2004 Pro
Thanks for downloading this plane!
The C-133 Served as the USAF's only turbo-prop strategic airlifter from 1956 to 1971, when wing fatigue caused their retirement. The C-141 and C-5 then took over the "Weanie Wagon's" role.
The main mission of the C-133 was to transport the USAF's range of ICBM's to their bases, and to move many oversized cargoes long distances. One being a ship's propeller and shaft to New Zealand.
First version was the C-133A, serving at Dover AFB. The last dozen or so were the C-133B version, with new clamshell doors and more powerful engines. These served at Travis AFB.

Installation:
Make new Folder in your FS2004\Aircraft folder, label it C-133B_CARGOMASTER
After downloading the zip, locate it, using your Computer Explorer, Winfile, etc. Double-click on it and extract the file to your C-133B_CARGOMASTER folder.Everything should end up in the right place/folder.
If you want, you can copy the textures into the Sim's Texture folder. Either way, the textures should show up.

Copy the gauges into your Sim's Gauges Folder
Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed.

Panel And Sound is included

This plane was made with the 1% Spreadsheet Process, made possible by AvHistory.org

Several of the gauges are from FSD, Flight Sim Developers(?) (I think, hope I got the credit right!)

NOTAM:
Some of the panel gauges and switches are dummies. Go ahead and play with the panels and see which switch/gauge does what. Some are dummies, because either FS doesn't support a certain function, or I was simply too dumb to do it;)
There is the Main Panel, Throttle Console, and Overhead Panel, and I left in the default GPS.

SHF e opens the Side Cargo Door and Crew Door. SHF e 2 opens the rear Clamshell Doors.

For max effect and fun, find and D/L some heavy 4-engine turboprop sounds.

This aircraft was successfully flown in FS2004, but suffers from blurry textures, and framerate drops.
I would recommend a computer no less than a P4 1.5GHZ.

This aircraft was tested in FS2004 Pro:
Flight Model set to HARD
Plane Textures set to MASSIVE
Screen res set to 1024X768X32
Reflections set to ON
Computer:
P4 1.5 GHZ
768 MB RAM
GeForce4 Ti 4600 128 MB With 44.03 Drivers.
TM Cougar HOTAS/CH Pro Pedals
Results with your Computer and Sim Settings may vary.

Enjoy!
This aircraft was built to the best of my skills and knowledge. I don't mind constructive comments, or how-to's, but "This Sucks!" type e-mails will be ignored. As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".
These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it , hack it, do repaints, give to friends or enemies, but do not make money off of it without my express approval.
