Thank you for downloading the C-130H Hercules RNoAF V2.0 package! After
more then a year we are finally there with the new FS2000 Freeware C-130H
aircraft and panel!

Please read the important notes below before installing this package!
There are important information below which you should read before
starting the installation process (there are also useful information in
other paragraphs below).

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: IMPORTANT NOTE 1
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

YOU CANNOT INSTALL THIS PANEL WITH ANY C-130 OR OTHER TURBOPROP AIRCRAFT!
THE FLIGHT DYNAMICS FOR THIS AIRCRAFT ARE MADE EXCLUSIVELY TO MATCH THIS
PANEL.

ALSO BE AWARE OF THAT YOU CANNOT USE ANY SOUND FILES FOR THIS PACKAGE, IT
JUST MIGHT NOT WORK! THE SOUND PART OF THIS PACKAGE WILL BE EXPLAINED IN
MORE DETAIL BELOW.

PLEASE DO NOT E-MAIL ME FOR ADVISE ON HOW TO USE THIS PANEL ON OTHER AIRCRAFT,
EITHER C-130 OR OTHER TURBOPROP AIRCRAFT, OR QUESTIONS ABOUT OTHER SOUND
PACKAGES. I WILL NOT HAVE THE TIME TO ANSWER.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: IMPORTANT NOTE 2
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

THE ACS-GPS KLN90B RADIO CONFIGURED FOR THIS PANEL IS NOT INCLUDED, SIMPLY
BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THE ACS-GPS PROGRAM FIRST (PREFERABLY THE LATEST
FS2000 VERSION), IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS DISPLAY WORK.

THE ACS-GPS KLN90B RADIO IS PART OF THE ACS-GPS PROGRAM. WHEN INSTALLING
THIS PROGRAM THE GAUGE NEEDED HERE SHOULD BE RESIDENT IN THE FS2000 GAUGES
FOLDER. IT IS ALSO IMPERATIVE THAT YOU READ THE AUTHOR'S INFORMATION ON HOW
TO USE THE ACS-GPS PROGRAMS AND DISPLAYS.

their current new grey livery.

FS2000 Flight Dynamics only

By Doug Boynton and Jan H. Sorensen. Note that the engine gauges (N1, N2
and EGT) are derived from the default MSFS Concorde aircraft as there are
currently no other four-engine Turboprop gauges available.

FS2000 Aircraft Select menu
===========================
This aircraft is shown as "C-130H Hercules RNoAF V2.0". Please check that
you don't have any other C-130 aircraft in the Aircraft Select menu with
the same name. If this is the case, you have to rename one of them. Open the
AIRCRAFT.CFG file you want to change by using Notepad and edit this file:

[fltsim.0]
title=C-130H Hercules RNoAF V2.0

Rename the title: title=[enter new unique name]

FS2000 PANEL
============
Main panel, Throttle Qudrant and other panels with nigth lighting
configured for a (minimum) screen solution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher.
For best readability a monitor size of 19 inches set at 1280 x 1024 pixels
and 16-bit colours is recommended.

New four-lever throttles. Until further the throttle levers have no mouse-drag
capabilities. This issue is pending, check my web site for updates. The TQ can
be toggled by clicking the "Aircraft" Toggle switch on the Auto Pilot panel.

Other features:

- Radio Altimeter by Microsoft
- ACS-GPS KLN90B RADIO by Alain Capt (see important note 2 above)

failure - "as real as it gets"!
- New interior views based on actual photographs from the C-130H 952 "Odin"
flight deck.

Note: The following interior views are available:
- FORWARD_LEFT
- FORWARD_RIGHT
- RIGHT

The panel has alltogether 105 different gauges, so you definitely need a
powerful computer to run this package. There are six different windows on
this panel, and it might increase the FR if you reduce the number of open
windows at any time.

For more information about the operation of this aircraft and systems, read
the text documents in the DOCUMENTS folder of this package.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: INSTALLATION
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Installation is fairly simple. Please note that the WinZip program has been used
when making the files for this project. Other programs like FlightZip or JAB98
may not work.

1. C-130H.V2.0.zip (main program):

! Use WinZip with the "Use folder names" box checked,
! and unzip the C-130H.V2.0.zip to:

--> ..\FS2000\AIRCRAFT

2. The other *.zip files like this:

GAUGES --> ..\FS2000\GAUGES

MAIN_SOUND --> ..\FS2000\SOUND

!NOTE!
======
The default MS Beech_King_Air_350 sounds are referred to in the SOUND.CFG file.
If this aircraft has been removed, you either has to reinstall it (if possible),
or edit the SOUND.CFG in Notepad to read:

[fltsim]
alias=B737_400\SOUND

! Remember to save this file as SOUND.CFG and not SOUND.txt!

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: RECOMMENDED SOUND PACKAGE
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

After testing of different sound packages we landed on the "FS2000 soundset for
Large turbo props or any other suitable heavy engine turboprop aircraft with lower
pitch rpm" - Transall C160 V.1.0 (tbprop.zip) by Richard Herrmann. This package
can be downloaded from: http://wwww.SurClaro, or other FS Sites,
file size 7,466KB. Please read the author's text file before installation.
