README FOR bks2004.zip October, 2003
****************************************

This version for MSFS2004 is a re- build of my Bankstown for FS2002. Most things remane although I have built this version
around the defaulf taxiways and have altered the aircraft parking slightly and removed parking positions that are not there at the real airport.

Bankstown airport, Australia's busiest airports in terms of annual aircraft moments, is situated 22 kilometres south-west of Sydney's CBD.
It is now recognized as the centre of the general aviation industry in Australia. General designed for aircraft up to a 5,7000kgs maximum takeoff weight.
Bankstown Airport can also accommodate larger aircraft up to 20,000 kgs.
Facilities include: Terminal building, maintenance organizations, aircraft handling and aircraft parking.

I have placed the AFCAD file (new paking positions) in the Bankstown scenery file. If you wish to have the default parking positions working ( don't know
why to would) just remove the AF2_YSBK.bgl from the folder. FS2004 will then read the default parking.

GENERAL DISPLAY

You will need APT (Airport 2.10 +) ASD, VOD, NOVA and NOVA GOLD TEXTURES, in your FS2004 main TEXTURE folder, for this scenery to show correctly.

These can be downloaded from most flight simulator web sites, including SurClaro [on the must have files page] and SurClaro.com.

Nova and Nova Gold can be downloaded from NOVA'S site at http://www.fsnova.com/
Then to download page, all the textures are there including the trees.

The texture files you will require from the NOVA site are as follows :

NovaGt1.zip
NovaTxt3.zip
NovaTxt2.zip
NovaTxt1.zip

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE 82 NOVA TEXTURES, 24 NOVA GOLD TEXTURES AND 68 VOD TEXTURES.
ALL THESE TEXTURES SHOULD BE PLACED IN FLIGHT SIMULATORS MAIN TEXTURE FOLDER

INSTALLATION
*******************
For those unfamiliar with adding scenery to FS2004 you can follow the steps below.

Open bks2004.zip & extract to a temp folder. Make sure you "use folder names" ticked. This will give you a folder called

Bankstown2004 with all the required scenery files and textures. Place this Bankstown2004 folder where you normally add your other add on airports.

Now start FS2004 and open the scenery library. Click on "add area" and browse to the Banstown2004 folder.

Single click on the folder it should light up automatically, you won't have to type in any entries in FS2004.

Click OK. Close the scenery library dialog box by clicking OK.

YOU MUST NOW EXIT FS & RESTART IT. FS WILL BUILD THE SCENERY & ADD IT TO THE DATA BASE.
