README FOR Bnkslite.zip Jan, 2002
****************************************

THIS IS A FRAME RATE FRIENDLY VERSION OF THE PREVIOUSLY RELEASED ysbk.zip. ALL FEATURES OF THE ORIGINAL AIRPORT REMAIM. A FIX FOR THE BUMPY TAXIWAY IS ALSO INCLUDED.
******************************************************************************************************************
Bankstown airport, Australia's busiest airports in terms of annual aircraft moments, is situated 22 kilometres south-west of Sydney's CBD.
It is now recognized as the centre of the general aviation industry in Australia. General designed for aircraft up to a 5,7000kgs maximum takeoff weight.
Bankstown Airport can also accommodate larger aircraft up to 20,000 kgs.
Facilities include: Terminal building, maintenance organizations, aircraft handling and aircraft parking.

This version for MSFS2002 is an update of my Bankstown for FS2000. I have added more hangers and used some photo-realistic textures and changed some trees. A larger and more realistic aircraft parking area has also been added. For this reason it can be a bit of a frame rate dragger. I hope this new version helps.

DISPLAY ISSUES (FRAME RATES)
*****************************
I have put the static aircraft on a separate BGLs so if you are struggling with frame rates leave them out of the scenery. They are "btownstatic" & "btownstatic2k2".
Taxing anywhere is fine for frame rates..
Some beta testers mentioned flashing textures from time to time but my experience has been it seems only when the textures first load.

INSTALLATION. Upzip to a temporary folder making sure you select "use folder names". Transfer the resulting "bankstown" folder to where you normally install your FS2002 scenery. Activate the scenery in the normal way.
Bankstown scenery does contain an exclude and flatten switch but they are built into the scenery thanks to the latest version of Airport 2.60

GENERAL DISPLAY
***************
For the scenery to display correctly you will need to have Airport 2.10+ , ASD, VOD and NOVA textures installed in your main FS2002 texture folder. Most add-on 3rd party scenery requires these textures.
Nova textures by Rafael Garcia Sanchez are relatively new but more and more scenery designers are using them. The NOVA textures I have are NOVAGT1.ZIP, NOVATX1.ZIP, NOVATX2.ZIP. You can download them from SurClaro.
Get APT2.6, VOD and ASD textures at www.SurClaro in the "must have files" area.

Get Nova from there too. Also at,
