FS2004 Vultee BT-13 Valiant

I think every WW2 USAAC cadet flew the BT-13 during basic training. Over 13,000 were produced. It was quite noisy and soon had the nickname of "Vibrator". This is my first project created in FSDSv3 from the beginning. I think it spanned from beta 4 to beta 17. It didn't push the envelope on all the things you can do with V3, but it did teach me the Makemdl rules for part and texture names, etc. I also used the new boolean function to cut out some of the canopy windows. It has the usual animations, crew figures, transparent glass, and Landing and Nav Lights that turn on and off with the "L" key. I have included two liveries; the early WW2 blue - yellow paint and a silver reflective texture paint. The 2D panel is based on a photo and the VC has moving throttle, joy stick and rudder pedals.

INSTALLATION: Unzip BT13.zip into a temporary folder. Copy the folder Vultee BT-13 into the Aircraft folder of FS2004. Open the gauges folder and copy the 2 gauges into the Gauges folder of FS2004. You may already have these gauges installed in which case you can say "No" if it asks if you want to overwrite. This plane will show in the Aircraft Selection list under Vultee as the Vultee BT-13.

LEGAL: This project is released as freeware. You may modify it, repaint it, etc., upload to another website as long as it is not for profit. Also, if any modifications were made to my files before uploading to another site, I cannot be responsible for their performance. You need my written permission to use any of these files for commercial purposes; otherwise just give me credit for the original design. This airplane should not hurt your computer but I am not responsible if it causes problems.
