B-36B Panel,Sound,Air,Config Files by Cliveindy 2004 for Paul Clawson's B-36B For FS2000

These files were created to enhance Paul Clawson's B-36B for use in FS2002 I have not be able to contact him so I am releasing them in hope he will contact me.

They are a work in progress, but work well, you will have to have some understanding of FS file system to use them. Simple replacement should work but backup the Originals and place the gauges in gauge folder in main FS folder. I hope to improve the art work with better perspective and depth. Hopefully someone will produce a new Visual model for FS2002/2004 in the near future.

Flying with this flight model:
This FDE tries!! to reproduce the B model (piston engine only), performance.I have use the Figures quoted in mph in most ref works in Knots as I found it very difficult to obtain a match in mph, here are basic figues.

Tackoff (full fuel):
140 kts ias, 53"manifold, 10* flap , 6000' to 8000'of runway required, Flap/undercarriage Limit 160 kts ias.
Inicial climb:
180 kts ias, 45"boost, 2500 rpm, Max 1500 fpm.
Cruise Climb:
200 to 180 kts, 40"manifold, 2500 rpm, 500 fpm to 35000'
Cruise Speed:
305 kts Tas at 35000', 2500 rpm, 35" manifold.
Max Speed:
350 kts Tas at 35000'(75% fuel).
max limiting IAS:
300 kts, mach 0.70,
Landing ( 25% fuel max):
approach 180 kts,
Final approach
145 kts , 10* flap,
130 kts , 20* flap,
120 kts, full flap.
Sorry no reverse pitch as yet so minimum landing distance 6000' braking from 50 kts.

The flight model has good stability and should trim to level flight hands off, lookout for lag, due to weight, in speed changes during landings. Use the throttle very slowly at light weights.

All Third party files (Gauges, Wavefiles, ETC.) are Freeware or Microsoft Default and I declare my work to be Freeware. Feel free to modify as you require.
