Delicate and Landscape Arches in Arches National Park for Flight Simulator 2002

Designed with Airport 2.6 build 144 and FS Designer Pro. Arches are based on photos
and have photo textures. I have plans to add more arches when I get around to it.

This scenery was designed and tested for FS2002 only. However, I don't see any
reason why it won't work with earlier versions. It has been tested with the standard
mesh resolution (I think it is 150m) and 38m resolution. I highly recomment the
FSGenesis National Parks 38 meter terrain mesh package for a very realistic view
of the arches. (Enclosed photos are with the FSGenesis terrain.)

Thank you for trying my scenery, hope you enjoy it.

Suggested installation:

Simple:

Copy the scenery files in the Arches scenery folder to the FS2002
Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. Copy the texture files in the Arches
texture folder to the Addon Scenery/texture folder. Start FS2002.

Not so Simple:

Step 1: If you're using winzip just extract using folder names to the
folder where you put your add-on scenery in. Example: C:\FS2002\Scenery

Step 2: Start FS2002

Step 3: Click on World (Alt-W), go to the SCENERY LIBRARY, go to "Add
Area" and find the folder "Arches" in c:\FS2002\Scenery\ (or the folder
you used in step one). Name it "Arches" and click "Ok".

Step 4: CLOSE FS2002

Step 5: Start FS2002

Finding Arches

Arches National Park is near Moab, Utah. You can use the FS2002 GOTO AIRPORT
menus to find Canyonlands Airport (KCNY). Fly about 7 miles at 060 degrees to
Landscape Arch, then about 6 miles at 105 degrees to Delicate Arch.

Or, you can use the "Search Add-On Scenery" button and select Arches. There is a
help pad at both Landscape and Delicate arch..
