[INTRODUCTION]
This is the FS2002/FS2004 1937 Aeronca LC Low-Wing Classic two seater sport airplane. The Aeronca LC was a departure from previous Aeronca designs, with a low wing cabin monoplane configuration. With its distinctive wheel pants, the LC reflects the streamlining movement that influenced 1930s aircraft design. Unless special ordered, LCs were originally painted at the factory in Loening yellow with black trim. The fuselage is made of chrome-molybdenum tubing covered with fabric. Sixty-five Aeronca Low Wings were built during their production run from 1936 to1937. Only seven are thought to survive today.
This model features animated control surfaces, opening door, steering tail wheel, working suspension, customised 2D panel, functioning 3D virtual cockpit with functioning instrumentation, rudder pedals, joysticks, etc. The airfile is tuned to behave closely to the actual aircraft. This particular plane has been fitted with an air-brake/flap on the underbelly, an old time 'high tech' option available from factories in that era. The model is elaborate with detail, which includes dynamic shine and reflection, tinting of the overhead perspex, a super detailed Sinsinich prop. By William Ortis, Lionheart Creations Ltd.

The AeroncaLC_Manual.doc has alot of information about flying this bird including some vintage pictures and interesting trivia.

[INSTALLATION]

*Scan your zipped folder with an anti virus program.
*Unzip your download into a temporary holding folder.
*Navigate into your AeronLC folder;
*Copy/Paste or Drag/Drop the gauges ‘out’ of the Guage folder (independent of their folder) and place them into the main Guages folder in your FS.
*Copy/Paste or Drag/Drop your AeronLC Aircraft folder into the main Aircraft folder in FS2002, FS2004 or FS9. (If you have both sims, you might as well install the girl into both sims now).

Note; If you are installing into FS2002 you will need to rename the FS2002Sound folder to ‘Sound’. The existing Sound folder is for the Lockheed Vega in FS2004. You can actually copy/paste any Sound folder you like and drop it into the Aeronca LC folder. I don’t recommend the Boeing 737-400 though for this particular plane.

Note; Because of software mix-ups in the past and the various gauges available between FS2002 and 2004, I have included ‘ALL’ the gauges in the gauges folder. Install them correctly and your panel should function as it is designed. If not, you probably have a foreign set-up or things have gone horribly bad in a temporal time anomaly and we’ll have to wait for the Federation of Planets to restore time as it should be… (Just kidding).

Important; when installing them you will already have a large amount of them. Answer ‘NO” to copying ‘over’ the ones you already have, even if it is a larger modified file. I practice this form of loading in that you might ‘adversely’ effect your ‘existing’ gauges on all your other planes.

Just make sure you drop the gauges (without their main folder) into the main Guages folder in FS.

Thanks to Bill and Lynn Lyons and JL Stubbs for the nice antique guages, Felix of FreeFlightDesign.com for his help and the 3D picture, and Steve Meyers for his help and the Sinsinich prop bitmap.

Kind regards, blue skies, and God's blessings,
