INTRODUCTION

Thank you for your interest in this scenery. I haven't ever been to Albany, New York, so it was impossible to draw upon any personal recollection of the area in developing this probject. Bob Lippman provided the spark to get things going, as well as a generous supply of reference material (thank you Bob!). Google Earth was used to measure the dimensions and their relative distance to each other when creating the objects. Custom textures were created as the buildings in Albany are just so unique that nothing currently available would work. A lot was learned about the City through the research done and references used as the project moved along, and I would most definitely like to see it someday. I sincerely hope you find this scenery enjoyable, and that it captures the "feel" of the City.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I wish to express gratitude to the following, without which this project would not have happened:

- "gianp" (see ReadMe inside Agen_XTrees_lib9_2.zip folder) for his addon tree library used in, and included with, the FS2004 version of Albany.
- David "Opa" Marshall for the bridge modifications, used with the FS2004 version only (available from AVSIM & SurClaro).
- Abacus software, FSDS V3.5.1 having been used to create and compile models for both versions of this scenery.
- SBuilder sb205 (for FS2004) and SBuilderX (for FSX), used to modify land features.
- Instant Scenery, used to add library objects (both versions).
- Exclusion Builder for FSX, used to remove default city skyline objects.
- Pixia and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, both used to create textures.
- The members of both Simviation.com and SurClaro forums, for their help in overcoming problems along the way.
