Jacksons Int'l Airport, Port Moresby v1.0 by Ross King (for FS2004) 20 May 05
------------------------------------------------------
This scenery is a scenery enhancement of the default Port Moresby Int'l (AYPY) in Papua New Guinea using RWY12 Object Placer V1.2

This file will work with the PNG Mesh scenery available as of May 05 (there is only one lot out there at the moment).

I have added a domestic terminal enhancement, jetways, vehicles, lights, redone AFCAD file, PNGDF Hangar, trees, fire station, cargo area, and GA area.

The scenery provides 40 fps (locked) on finals with 100% 3D Clouds and 100% AI traffic. Tested on Athlon 64 3.2 GHz, Geforce 5200 FX and 1Gb RAM. NOT TESTED IN FS2002.

The following lists the .bgl files used in the scenery. If you have framerate issues i would consider deleting the following files in this order:
aypy_trees.bgl
aypy_vehicles.bgl
aypy_misc.bgl
aypy_lightpoles.bgl
aypy_terminal.bgl (the 3 hut things designed to look like the building between I and D terminals)
aypy_pngdf_hangar.bgl
aypy_jetways.bgl

These 3 make up the domestic terminal concrete barriers (and go together):
aypy_fence_east.bgl
aypy_fence_south.bgl
aypy_fence_west.bgl

Installation:
-------------
1. Copy the Port Moresby Int'l folder into the following folder (or your equivalent): (C):\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\

2. Open FS2004, got to Scenery Library, click Add Area, find the Port Moresby Int'l folder, click on it, click ok. Exit FS2004 and restart (you must do this) and the scenery will be activated.

3.IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RWY12 STATIC OBJECT LIBRARY INSTALLED ON YOUR SYSTEM, YOU MUST COPY THE RWY12 SCENERY FOLDER .BGL FILES TO YOUR PORT MORESBY INT'L/SCENERY FOLDER OR THIS SCENERY WON'T WORK CORRECTLY.

4. Copy the AF2_AYPY.bgl file to your Addon Scenery/scenery folder (or where all your addon AFCAD files). This AFCAD is specifically for my scenery, but may work with the default scenery.

There are no exclude or flatten files.

Uninstallation:
---------------
The reverse of the above.

Disclaimers:
------------
This scenery is 90% accurate. I have utilised accurate approach plates for the AFCAD file. However:
- For those wondering, RWY 14R/32L does not have runway lighting because it doesn't in real life (that RWY is usually NOTAMed out anyway)
- the domestic terminal has a 'C' shaped area that is covered walkways for people, in real life. I have modelled this with concrete barriers as there was no other suitable .api file that i could find.
- there are only two jetways on the international terminal as 3 wouldn't fit (and trust me, i tried). As such, there is only 1 747 size spot, 2 767 (the 2 jetways) and 2 737 spots for int'l traffic (this shouldn't be a major problem as AYPY isn't the busiest airport in the world for international traffic!!)
- the three hut objects placed between the Int'l and Domestic terminals are a compromise for what the real building looks like (a polynesian influenced building).
- the actual airport is 'stepped' in terms of the old domestic terminal being much more elevated than the new area. This was not mimicked in the default version so i have left it flat.
