Description:

This archive contains aircraft sound files and configuration data to model the ATR 42-500 Series.

I created this sound pack to address the fact that many of the default sounds are too "buzzy." While buzzing may be what you hear as an observer or even a passenger, the cockpit has a very different sound environment.

This project was designed to be a sound pack for use with an ATR 42-500, although I must say that I am also using it for my Dash series. The choice is up to you... installation is easy and can be reversed with a simple procedure if you don't like the effect.

All sounds were mixed and compiled for smoothness, resolution, clarity, and timbre. I think you will find the effect quite pleasing and a rather welcome improvement.

Installation:

Simply unzip the archive to a temporary folder of your choice. You will see a sound folder resulting from the unzipping process. Copy this sound folder to the aircraft container of your choice. Remember to back up your old sound folder first. Doing so will allow you to easily revert back to your previous sound environment.

I hope you enjoy this archive!
