What does the gauge?
====================
This gauge and the included wav give you a realistic sound of the wind blowing around your gears when you lower the gear. It is especially fun on approach :-)

What's new to this version?
===========================
A much more improved code and the usage of only one wav. And now you won't hear any steps if you slow down or become faster.

Some words about this gauge:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you dislike the volume of this waves you have to edit the waves itself. Load it with a sound-editor (e.g. the Shareware Cool Edit 96) and change it as you desire. You also can use other waves if you like, just rename the waves, but you need wavs with the same length.
I'm sure that some are interested in how to program gauges, but sorry, I will not give away the source codes, they are for gauges as important as the AFX-files for aircrafts. And I will also not teach anyone to make gauge, because I'm not a good teacher and I don't have the time to do this. Thanks for your understanding.
Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Copy the wav's to your FS98-main-sound directory (...\FS98\SOUND) and the gauge to the FS98-main-gauge-directory (...\FS98\GAUGES). Then add to the panel.cfg of that panel you want to include this gauge the following, or use the included panel.cfg of the generic-737-panel:

gaugeXX=FPDA_Gear_Wind, 0, 0

The "XX" stands for the next gauge number. As an example here some lines from the MS-737-panel:

...
gauge15=737-400.ADI, 334, 55
gauge16=737-400.HSI, 334, 301
gauge17=737-400.Landing-Gear, 1170, 137

The last gauge number of the [Window00] is here the 17, so write for the "XX" the 18 and add it to this lines:

...
gauge15=737-400.ADI, 334, 55
gauge16=737-400.HSI, 334, 301
gauge17=737-400.Landing-Gear, 1170, 137
gauge18=FPDA_Gear_Wind, 0, 0
