5/8/98

Here's an FS98 instrument panel based on the Cessna 172. I think its most
interesting feature is the addition of a moving yoke. Because the gauges are
relatively small, it looks best in resolutions of at least 800x600. To
install, place the 172PAN.BMP file and the PANEL.CFG file in the \PANEL
subfolder of whichever aircraft will use the panel. You may wish to make a
backup copy of the existing PANEL.CFG first. Then place all the GAU files in
the \GAUGES subfolder of FS98.

This panel is freeware; feel free to share it. Also feel free to use any
of my custom gauges and to charge money for them. You may find it difficult
to use the moving yoke with other aircraft, because it includes the turn
coordinator, directional gyro and vertical speed indicator on the same gauge.
That was the only way I could keep the yoke from interfering with them as
separate gauges. The custom gauges were created with Microsoft's SDK. I
want to thank Tim Gregson of Microsoft for helping me understand how to use
it. This panel should not harm your computer but, if you imagine it has, I
accept no liability.
