This is by far one of my favorite downloads. This is just a superbly done aircraft. A must for every FS'er. The flight dynamics are quite accurate with (of course) some variations from the real thing. However, if you built a full sized cockpit and ran this plane in the sim, you would swear you were flying the real thing. The animation and the textures are fantastic. My only dissapointment came in the views from inside the cockpit. I wish when you looked back to either side you could see your wings as you can in the real thing. In this one, you see just a block which I am guessing would be the back of your seat. Again here, you would actually see past your seat to your reel. That too would be a great addition, if you looked back in the cockpit view, you could see your reel behind you and your seat top (ejection handles.) I still give this a 10 however, because aside from that view problem, this is incredible!!!!! MUST HAVE!!!!!

But for the limited panel and VC functionality, this would be a 10. It is still well worth keeping.

holly $#!T thats thigs fast, its stops pretty damn quick though thats wierd, i pushed it up to mach 3.5 then i ran out of fuel, those after burners are awesome, execallant work keep making more beutiful birds like that!!

As if you were the Iceman himself...I couldn't be more happy flying this plane. One of the only military planes I ever fly. Only things I would improve would have there be a sonic boom (but perhaps that can be installed separately). I'm not criticizing at all though. This is the best F-14 download out there (i'm convinced). --anjinsan630--

This is a great plane and a real joy to fly whenever you feel the need for speed. However i am having one problem that being that i can not figure out how to make the afterburner work. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

I have just downloaded an F-14B, the one that is around 30MB and i did what the read me file says. It just wont work! (appear on the create a flight screen) I add the F-14B to the aiircraft folder, the put the gauges in the gauges folder, effects in effects folder and so on. I just copy the files, I dont move the whole folder. PLEASE HELP, this is my favourite aircraft and i have heard only good things about it PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! PS I have downloaded many aircraft in the past and they worked just fine!

Great Plane! Definately worth downloading to addon to your whole fleet of fighter jets! Almost flawless, except for some minor issues. One issue is that 95% of the buttons in the virtual cokpit dont work, and the little extra things like afterburner toggle, chute, etc. are missing. GREAT PLANE ANYWAY THE SUPER SPOILER CAN BRING THE PLANE FROM MACH 1.2 TO 50 KNOTS IN LIKE 3 SECONDS!!!!! Great addition to your fleet, hope you like it! P.S. Would not recommend for people withoust joysticks!

OK! After several days of messing up the upload and getting no gauges, I was fed-up with trying! well I love the F-14! So I tried one last time. Bingo! I had to us the panel and gauges from f14car04.zip and it worked! boy am I glad I tried again! great aircraft! All I nee now is a Aircraft Carrier, anyone know where to get one!? Please let me know!

Outstanding effort !! I've seen the update packages and do not think they are needed. Everything is in the zip file if you extract it to a folder as is then copy / paste, easy as that. Oh, and to the person that could not understand why the speed brake stopped the aircraft in a very exaggerated manner, please read the "read me" file before you criticize what you do not understand.

I LOVE this plane. It's actually one of my favorite addons. (I have quite a few). Very detailed, it flies great, and I like the sounds. Overall, it is an awesome aircraft.

This is best add on I have seen .AWSOME! it is all I seem to fly any more .Good job guys A++.The texturs are great,the pannel is great.so is the vc exept the green front winshield wish there was away to that off. Ehterwise the most fun ive had on flight simulater.

Very cool plane, just love to fly it! But why can I stop it just using the brake flaps??? flying 800 knots and it stops right where it is....a little funny.... but cool thing, worth the download

The F14 Tomcat on this file makes the whole game fun again. I really enjoyed it. Wish I knew where to find gauges to install in it. Thank you for putting this on the web site!

Its a nice jet. but why don't the gauges work. There is a gauge file. Why when you put it in your Gauge floder nothing happens. Can you just get a gauge and put it for the F-14.

Nice job! Beautiful airplane. All the effects are perfect. Having been a Navy jet pilot in Vietnam, it brings me back to the old days of flying the F4 Bs.

The aircraft is beautiful. There may be some flaws, but I'm not here to criticize. I've flown this Tomcat several times now, and find it a pure joy to fly. I don't know how accurate the flight model is, and I really don't care. The plane just feels good to me. And that's why I fly this sim. I do appreciate realism, but I do have fun. Kudos and thanks!!
