Great Jet! The best thing is you can take it to speeds over mach 4. I'm not sure if it can be done in any other aircraft but all you have to do is get it up to about mach 1.20 and then put it into a steep climb until you reach about 40000 feet or until you stall and begin to fall. At this point keep full throttle and decend straight down just before you hit the ground pull up and head straight you'll continue to accelerate and you won't be able to stop uless you shut off the engins. It's the best part of flying this jet except you have to be careful when flying at such high speeds.

This plane is outstanding. Kirk Olsson did a fine job. I just wish he could make an F-18 as well as he made this one.

it pulls up a bit when you have it full speed... is that supposed to happen? it lessens when you open up the spoilers and i can never tell when the burners are on... i don't know why it's the same with all planes, probably something i haven't done

Nice download but complicated to install, and in the cockpit view there is like 4 guages and the rest is all black with no sight out of the plane. Besides those things it is awesome a must for any FS pilot.

dont know why but the sound file keeps crashin my comuter when switchin between views so i changed the sound to the default and its fine, all in all excellent job

Great looking plane. It's overpowered, I can takeoff from the carrier deck with full afterburner without the use of catapult which is not realistic. Otherwise I would score it higher.

this download is so good that it will make you cry! it could serve as a standard for payware products, but mr Olsson decided that it should be freeware. Great thanks! if you are looking for ONE plane you should download, this is it. Oh, and he recently published a mirage f1, it�s quality is again unreachable by others. absolutely amazing!

Great Add-on, but with some rather picky problems. My dad is an active duty Air Force F-16 pilot, and I had him fly this airplane. The HUD and some off the Gauges are off, it has WAY too much power and (I know this probably can't be done) It doesn't simulate the F-16's fly by wire control system. ex. a real F-16 never needs to be trimmed. However, this is still an excellent add-on, and the best F-16 that I have found. My only REAL complaint is not coming with a panel.

Way cool! A bit of a hassle getting the Eurofighter, but that one is sweet too. I love the afterburner and wingtip effects.

Almost perfect. Difficult to land, but it is not for FS users, it has been built for the proffessionals of the air. The only problem is that the radar does not work with FS9. I can not find the right .dll at the net. Any help??? But in the end 10 + 10 + 10 + 10. BRAVO!!!!!

I gave this add-on a 9 b/c some of the virutal cock-pit details are slightly false....As an avionics technician on the F-16s, I am extremely familiar with the cockpit. Other than those flaws I care not to get into, the model is awesome, excpet for the fact that about 700 knots, it shakes violently. I flown the real simulator actual pilots fly, and this thing handles almost the same. Kirk did a really superb job on this aircraft.

great detail on the flight model... a bit squirreley on the controls though, especially on the roll... i gave it an 8 because i had to fish the panel out of another site plus, where's the hud on the virtual cockpit, plus, i had to download another plane just to get the afterburner effects, and for some reason,the 'burners turn on with the lights, not the throttle. please tell me if i'm doing something wrong. otherwise, great airplane. from ben12791

Looks great, but in the cockpit view nothing shows up except the gauges. I have both the Aircraft and the reccomended alt panel files and for the life of me I cant get it to work. All other views are Ok though.

Very well done aircraft. I rated this an 8 because this download does not include the panel and you have to download someone else's panel to make the gauges work. But the flight model and dynamics of the aircraft are wonderful. This is a fun plane to fly. Great job!

The only reason I give this a 9 is because of the fact I had to hunt down the panel to complete this. It is an excellent add-on though. I find it pretty cool to open the canopy at 30,000 feet and getting some fresh air. Great job, keep up the good work.
