This downloaded zip file is the fifth Named Scenery Module of 'Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002'.
The 'Named Scenery Module' (Module 5 : Marchwood) reflects Cracknore Hard & Marchwood Military Port situated at Marchwood on the River Test. Small military craft and vehicles can be seen on site as well as moored naval ships. The scenery also links the major road, railway and electricity power pylons running along Marchwood By-pass, via Redbridge & Prince Charles Docks to the Western & Eastern Docks areas of Southampton. Railway and power pylons will eventually extend in later Modules through Hythe to Esso Refinery and Innogy Electricity Power Station at Fawley. Woodland copse (with seasonal adjusted textures) can be seen throughout the scenery module. You might also spot the odd horse and cow in nearby fields if flying low enough!
There are 12 Modules in the complete scenery. Each Module displays a given area.
Flight simmers can build-up the complete scenery in modular stages as and when each module becomes available by the author.

Quick Installation Guide for Module 5 : Marchwood

Module 5 extends earlier scenery modules (Modules 1 to 4) and has to be installed manually by the user. Modules 1 & 2, Southampton Docks, introduced the user to the scenery and was installed through an 'Install Wizard'.
1. Unzip the compressed file 'soton02e.zip' into a temporary folder. (As you are now reading this text document you must have successfully unzipped the compress file into a temporary folder of your choice.)
2. The Marchwood scenery folder & sub-folders (scenery & texture) must be installed into the existing soton2k2 folder of FS2002.
i.e. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\Addon scenery\soton2k2\Marchwood
Note: If you have not installed earlier Modules of my scenery then it will be necessary to place the complete soton2k2 folder & sub-folders into the 'Addon scenery' folder of FS2002.
3. Please read read the document file 'Install.doc' in order to fully understand how to Install and Register this and later freeware Named Scenery Modules of Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002. You will find this file in the decompressed root folder of 'soton2k2'.
1. Please read the document file 'Soton2k2.doc' as it will enlighten you as to the areas included in the complete modular Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002.
2. Documentation (*.doc), text (*.txt & *.diz) and picture (*.jpg) files should be transferred from the temporary folder to the root folder of 'soton2k2' for future reference purposes.
3. Seasonal textures and Night lighting (using L1 SCASM code criteria & _LM texture files) have been included in this scenery.
4. Earlier Named Scenery Modules developed by the author can be downloaded from the Internet at SurClaro. The Modules currently available are:

5. If you wish to merge each scenery module under a single 'soton2k2' folder, then you should refer to the 'Install.doc' documentation file on how to do this!
