This downloaded zip file is the first Named Scenery Module of 'Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002'.

The 'Named Scenery Module' (Module 1:DocksW) reflects the working Commercial & Container Terminal Port of Southampton Western Docks with cranes, cargo containers and dry docks, including Mayflower Park and ocean-going shipping traffic such as the luxury cruise liner 'Arcadia' docked alongside P&O's Mayflower Cruise Terminal Birth 106. There are 12 Modules in the complete scenery. Each Module displays a given area.

Flight simmers can build-up the complete scenery in modular stages as and when each module becomes available by the author. Users have the option of installing later Named Scenery Modules manually or automatically. The introductory modular (Module 1:DocksW) scenery is installed automatically into FS2002 on executing the 'soton02a.exe' file.

Quick Installation Guide for Module 1

1. Unzip the compressed file 'soton02a.zip' into a temporary folder. (As you are now reading this text document you must have successfully unzipped the compress file into a temporary folder of your choice.)

2. Activate the executable file 'soton02a.exe' in order to install the scenery into FS2002. The Install Wizard will guide you through this operation step by step. Once you have installed the scenery it is important that you read the file 'Install.doc' in order to fully understand how to Install and Register the various Named Scenery Modules of Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002. You will find this file in the root folder of 'soton2k2'

i.e. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\Addon scenery\soton2k2.

Please also read the document file 'Soton2k2.doc' as it will enlighten you as to the areas included in the complete modular Southampton & Regional Area Local Addon Scenery for FS2002.

3. Activate FS2002 in order to Register the new scenery (soton2k2) with FS2002.

Note: Documentation (*.doc); text (*.txt & *.diz) and picture (*.jpg) files should be transferred from the temporary folder to the root folder of 'soton2k2' for future reference purposes.
