Beech 1900D Panel
Version 1.0
by Matt Laurita

Thank you for downloading the Beech 1900D panel!

NOTICE: This panel is intended for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 only. It uses XML programming for the gauges and will therefore not work with any other version of FS!

Please read the manual for detailed operating instructions.

This panel is my first attempt at a fully functional panel for the Beech 1900D. Much helpful information was given to me by Evan Jones, who is a First Officer on an actual 1900D.

If you're looking for a good 1900D model for FS2002, I'd suggest Mike Stone's. You can find that on SurClaro.com or SurClaro.

INSTALLATION:
-Extract the file named 'panel.zip' to a temporary directory.
-Extract the contents of 'panel.zip' to the panel folder of your favorite Beech 1900D.
(Example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\aircraft\YourFavorite1900\panel\)
-Extract the file named 'Beech_1900D.cab' to the FS2002 gauges folder. (Example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\GAUGES\)
(NOTE: WinZip may treat this file as a zip archive. DO NOT EXTRACT THE FILES FROM IT. Just move it to the gauges directory)
-Extract the manual and checklists to wherever you'd like. Note that you'll need the freely downloadable Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files.

KNOWN ISSUES:
-Currently the panel uses the default FS autopilot. The autopilot's Nav and Appr hold modes will not work if the active course is based on the Nav 2 signal (see the manual for an explanation). If you want to use these modes you have to keep the active course associated with Nav 1.
-When the cabin is climbing or descending to the altitude set on the cabin controller the climb or descent will continue if the simulator is paused.

Future versions of the panel will include more complete systems and improved graphics. In the meantime everything you need to get you there and back is available.

Happy Flying!
