Readme file for GENERAL ATOMICS RQ-1A PREDATOR UAV
FOR FS2002 PRO.
Thank you for downloading this plane!
Hard working Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Bosnian and current Enduring Freedom operations. The RQ-1 can collect and transmit data without endangering any aircrews' lives.
Powered by a 101 HP Rotax 914 4-cylinder engine, the Predator can carry a 450lb. payload. Such payload can consist of radar, IR sensors, and electro-optical cameras to overcome
night and bad weather. The Ground Controller Station can be mounted in the back of a truck or trailer, and in some ways, resembles the computer setup you are now using
to fly FS2002 PRO. The UAVs' "pilots" are fully rated and trained pilots, complete with wings and bragging rights.

NOTES:
The panel and "cockpit" views are set up to "simulate" the Ground Controller Station's pilot monitor.
Only the front view panel has working gauges. I could have put working gauges on all the views, but that would drop frame rates way too low, and view transitions way too long.
The Predators in combat areas seem to carry no markings, but to snazz up my UAV, I added some markings from the 11th Recon Squadron.

Installation:
Make new Folder in your FS2002\Aircraft folder, label it RQ-1_PREDATOR
After downloading the zip, locate it, using your Computer Explorer, Winfile, etc. Double-click on it and extract the file to your RQ-1_PREDATOR folder.Everything should end up in the right place/folder.
Copy the textures into the Sim's Texture folder.

GAUGES
Download the included RQ-1 gauges into your sim's GAUGES folder The panel will use these gauges and the default FS2002PRO Gauges

Enjoy!
