Hi all!
Thanks for downloading this file.

What is it?
All the Air France boeing 747 services according to the Summer 2002 Timetable. Days are respected and will add traffic to lots of cities including Abidjan, Dakar, Johannesburg, Havana, Los Angeles, Miami, Papeete, the french territories in the West Indies, Mumbai, Tokyo, etc...

What do you need?
Traffic Tools by Lee Swordy. A good repaint of the default Boeing 747-400 in Air France livery. They can be found at www.SurClaro.com and www.SurClaro
If you cannot find the AF repaint, email me and I'll send you a link to a site which has a good one.

How to install?
Please, refer to the Traffic Tools manual. Otherwise, here are some tips. First of all, install a good AF747 repaint for the default Jumbo. Make sure it gets the "Air France" callsign otherwise, the ATC will call the aircraft 'Alpha Foxtrot 747'. Then, de-compile the traffic.bgl with Lee Swordy's excellent file and copy the aircraft line hereafter into the aircraft.txt file.
Next, use Wordpad to change the AC# number (or even the percentage of ATC flights) to the one that fits your system by selecting the whole lines and pressing CTRL+H for a quick change. Copy the result into your 'flightplans.txt' file and re-compile.
Start FS2002, wait for the new tracks to be included into the system and start at any of the destinations flown by Air France. May I suggest the beautiful Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports enhancements by Yannick Lavigne. You find them both at SurClaro.com and SurClaro and they will make your stay at the Paris Airports much nicer than default block scenery.

Remarks
I hope you'll enjoy these tracks. I know some of you prefer having the reg of the plane displayed on the screen but I prefer knowing what type of aircraft is flying around; that's why I call the aircraft AF-B747.
Normally , all West Indies flights are operated with the 747-300 SUD but I'm sure you'll agree on the fact that the-400 will do the job well.
Air France is one of the major airline in the world and I'm sure you'll enjoy the presence of their Jumbos at your favourite airports. I shall release my next file within few days regarding the rest of the long-haul traffic, including the Triple Seven, the brand new A330 and the A340.

My french flights are 60% ready and already undergoing heavy test with two friends of mine. It takes time to write the tracks and make sure the planes go where I want them to go at the necessary time. Keep checking the website you took this file from.

This file is freeware, don't spend money for it and don't ask for ca$h. If you have spare money, give it to a charity. www.unicef.org makes great things for kids vaccination around the world. If you're really rich, fly the Concorde for an exclusive experience!!!

Feel free to send comments or even screenshots (only jpg and small size to show me what your airports look like with the AF 747 around.
