This is an update of the F4U-1A Corsair that came with FS2002. I have redone the flight dynamics and added nav lights. As I always do my updates in FS2004, there should be no problem running it in 2004. To make it smaller and easier to upload, or download, I have aliased the sound to the Ford Trimotor. I don't think the sounds that came with it are much like the real aircraft anyway.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft into the main FS aircraft folder. It will show up under Vought.

I have also added a view section to the panel.cfg file so it is easier to see over the nose, and added a digital trim gauge. You won't see the trim gauge unless you have it from one of my other updates that had it included, or have another aircraft that uses it. For those who want the panel to be more realistic to the period; you can put // at the begining of the line for the trim gauge in the panel.cfg file, gauge 28. This way it won't show, but if you decide later that you want it, you only have to delete the //.

I like having a digital trim gauge, because once you know where to set it for a good landing with a particular aircraft, any landing with that aircraft is much easier.

As stated at the top, this is not my aircraft. It came with FS2002. Only the mentioned updates are mine.
