ABOUT THE SCENERY:

This scenery was chosen because I flew over the default scenery in FS9. After landing there I thought it would be a nice facility to redo. So here it is. I have been in the Newburgh area a very long time ago, but never knew there was an airport there (I was in my teen years). It took a while to do the scenery, not because it's a difficult scenery to do, but rather on advice of my physician, and my family I should not sit at the computer too long anymore. Imagine that, being ordered to spent less time with my favorite pass time. Well, this and future sceneries may be slow in coming, but I will still be active in the FS design community.
I have left room for you to add your own flight plans in the general aviation area. If you have any of the other flight plans programs, you do not have to use the one I provided here. Below, you will find a list of aircraft that I used in the scenery's AI portion. The .flt and .wx files will place you at the facility at the time where most of the AI flights are visible. The custom textures mainly consists of signs and logos. If for any reason you have lost them they are available from my web site noted below.
So here you are, Stewart International Airport NY. Enjoy!

INSTALLATION:

AFTER UNZIPPING THE FILE KSWF_V1.ZIP TO A TEMPORARY FOLDER, HOPEFULLY, YOU ARE READING THIS README FILE.

If you don't have them already, download Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools v2x and AFCAD2x. Follow the instructions from the files and install them onto your system. While you're at it, download the texture files necessary for this scenery and put them into the main FS texture folder. They are: ASDv2.1, Nova, Nova Gold and NovaSim textures, plus my own custom textures. All are available for free at my website, www.lfssd.net (the "l" is an L, not a one).

Using the folders switch, unzip the file kswf_scen.zip to the drive where you have your FS. Using your file manager (Windows Explorer) check to make sure that all the files are in their proper folder.

C:\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files should have NY - Stewart International FLT and WX files
Drive:\FS2004\Addon Scenery\scenery should have AF2_KSWF.bgl
Drive:\FS2004\Scenery\World\scenery should have TrafficStewart.bgl
Drive:\fs2k4_scenery\KBNA\scenery should have the kswf_*.bgl scenery files
