TAN METRO III - Installation Instructions

NOTE: This aircraft will only work in Flight Simulator 98
The instructions hereunder assume that you are using a folders
and long filenames capable Extracting program such as a recent
version of Winzip, that you are familiar with folders and that
you are reading this file before unzipping .
1. Open the archive.
2. Click on the 'Extract' button
3. The 'Extract' dialog appears.
4. In the 'Extract dialog' make sure the 'All files' and
'Use Folder Names' options are selected.
5. In the Folders/Drives pane, browse the tree to find your base
Flight Sim 98 directory.
Usually something like - 'C:\Program Files\Flight Simulator'
6. Click on the 'Extract' button inside the Extract dialog.
7. At this stage you may be prompted whether you would like to
overwrite existing files or not. The files concerned are
probably gauges files that you already have from other panels,
so you can reply NO to this question for all the files you are
prompted for.
8. That's it - Start Flight Sim and the Metro III should be
available from your aircraft list. Look under 'Fairchild Metro
III Air LA'.
