FS98/FS2000 Aircraft - Baires Fly Fairchild Metro III (LV-ZMG)
Twin Turboprop 19 seater light regional airliner.
The original Metro (Metro II) originally came out in 1970
and was a stretched version of the executive transport Fairchild
Merlin twin turboprop. It featured Garrett TPE331-3 turbines rated
at 940 shp.
The Metro III (SA 227) came out in 1982 and featured 4 bladed props
and more powerful Garrett TPE 331-11U engines (1000 shp).
The aircraft featured here is a Metro III painted in the livery
of Baires Fly an Argentine Airline.
