Beechcraft Bonanza Panel
------------------------
by Michael Gurezka, 3-Oct-2005

This is intended as a replacement panel for the great freeware Bonanza V35TC by Mike Stone. However, it may work as well with other Bonanzas or other single-prop light aircraft.

The panel is based on Eric Yane´s FS98 Bonanza panel in which he used a bitmap based on the Elite IFR trainer. I have further edited this bitmap, partly with elements from the FS2004 Beech Baron panel.

The panel uses FS2004 default gauges, except for the fuel status gauge which is included.

Also included is a Bonanza checklist which is based on various ressources.

Installation

(1)
Open your Bonanza base pack folder in FS2004.

(2)
Rename the default panel subfolder from "panel" to "panel.bak" in case you don´t want to skip it.

(3)
Copy the extracted folder "panel" to the Bonanza base pack folder.

(4)
Extract the "fuelst12.zip" archive which is in the new panel folder and put the "TC.FuelStatusCG.gau" and "TC.FuelStatusPR,gau" gauge files into your main FS2004 gauges folder.

(When you later select an aircraft in FS2004 which uses this panel and you have an unregistered version of FSUPIC installed, you will get an error message that full functionality will not be given. Just quit this error message OK, most functions of the gauge will still be available.)

(5)
From the extracted "checklist" folder, copy the file "checklist.htm" to the Bonanza´s main folder, e.g. where also the bonanza.air and aircraft.cfg files are.

(6)
Open the aircraft.cfg with a text editor and edit the line "kb_checklists=" to "kb_checklists=bonanza_chk" in all [fltsim.xx] sections.

The checklist can be opened from the FS2004 menu or by clicking on the checklist icon on the panel. Open the "aircraft.cfg" file in the Bonanza base pack folder with a text editor.

That´s all.

In case you use this panel for further modifications together with Mike Stone´s Bonanza, please respect Mike Stone´s conditions of use as stated in the text file which comes with the SBONANZA.ZIP base package.
