The original IL-86 flight dynamics file by Dmitry Kolesnik, originally made for FS98, has been modified to make it FS2002 compatible. The main corrections are:
- The "dead code" added by FSEdit for FS2002 to the original *.air file has been removed
- New weight configuration: acft. is setted-up with a 310.000 lbs empty weight (about 250 paxs. + baggages). Max fuel load is now limited to about 155.000 lbs (it's about 100% central and wing tank, 20% aux. tanks). DO NOT OVERLOAD THE AIRCRAFT!
- New flaps setting and dynamics. Use 15° (2 notch) for T.O.
- New spoiler dynamics: now you can gently slow down aircraft even during steep approach, without "parachute" effects
- New engine dynamics: at MTOW stop your climb @ 31,000 ft. Cruise speed is as shown on POH
- Exaust black smoke effects added. Press "I" to activate it during take off and climb. Switch off the smoke once over 20,000 ft
- Fuel Flow corrected (it's now a 23% more! Watch out your speed on long hauls! I suggest to maintain M 0.78)
