Surinam airways is the longest or is one of the longest operators of
the Twin Otter
It started in 1968 with a 100 followed by a second aircraft
a few days later.
In 1976 two additonal Twin Otters joined the fleet ,these were 300 series.
In 1979 all 4 Twin Otters were replaced by three new Twin otters 300 series and two
of them are still with the company(this aircraft is one of them).
I flew this aircraft from 1991 till 1995 in the jungle of Suriname in to strips ranging from 350 to 750 meters long
and carrying passengers to fuel barrels.
One thing I know for sure,there is still no replacement for this
unbelieveble and incredible aircraft.
This aircraft has Moving Props,rudder,flaps,elevator and operating
Landing Lights (Ctrl+L)added using "Aircraft Animator"
