THE SCENERY

-Bonriki Airport in Tarawa , south east Tarawa Atoll
-Redraw of the coastlines , terrain, roads, fish ponds etc
-New land class ( and new textures )
-New AFCAD2 ( Apron - Taxiway redesign - 3 Parking Positions/ MS did not include traffic)
-Recreation of the place with thatched huts , palms , etc
Practically 90% of the 3d objects and the textures were made from scratch
All vehicles ,palms, trees, buildings , etc except those credited.
I wanted to add more airports, like Nauru ,Butaritari or Tabiateua Norh ,
to have some island hopping activity,
but the information is scarce about those places
(and especially the airports )
Based on photographs and the location of the RWY and NAVAIDS remain
in the Microsoft's default position.
A beautiful scenery has been done for FS98 by Daniel Zenker,
one of the best ever made for Flight Simulator,
unfortunately I haven't heard from Daniel in a while so I decided to revisit the
place for use with the fs2004 platform ( his is better of course :)
Note that it hasn't been tested enough
FACTS ABOUT TARAWA ATOLL

-Tarawa is part of the Gilbert Group and is the capital of Kiribati
-It is an overpopulated atoll
-The Battle of Tarawa took place in 1943
-Most common airlines/planes there
_Air Kiribati ATR72 - DHC6
_Air Marshall islands Saab2000
_Air Nauru B737-400
(just to mention/suggest, there are no Air Kiribati repaints yet )
