FS2000 only. This panel is an all-new release for MD-80 series aircraft. Almost all the gauge bitmaps were re-made to accurately represent the true "look" of a newer MD-80 aircraft. Extensive use of photos were used in the design of this panel. A TRUE FS2K flight model. By Charles Fox.

INSTALLATION:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FS2000 users only:

YOU MUST HAVE FS2000 INSTALLED.

THE LATEST VERSION OF "FSUIPC.dll" SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN YOUR Fs2000\Modules FOLDER FOR BEST RESULTS. THIS CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM SurClaro

1) !BACKUP THE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF YOUR "FS2000/Sound" FOLDER BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PANEL!

2) Unzip the contents of this ZIP file to a temporary folder.

3) Move the unzipped "MD-82 Continental" folder into your "FS2000\Aircraft" folder.

4) Open the unzipped "cfMD80 Gauges" folder and move all of the 57 *.gau files into your "FS2000\Gauges" folder.

5) Open the unzipped "cfMD80 Sound" folder and move all of the 9 *.wav files into your "FS2000\Sound" folder (NOT THE AIRCRAFT SOUND FOLDER!). If a windows message asks you to overwrite any existing sound files, select "YES TO ALL" if you have backed-up your sound files as instructed in Step 1 (the AC, Gear Sounds, and wiper sounds contained in this file may differ from other from existing sounds contained in your "sound" folder).

6) If desired, delete the remaining *.jpg and *.txt files as these are not needed.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

- None noted provided the panel is installed as instructed. THIS PANEL CONTAINS GAUGES THAT ARE DESIGNED FOR FS2000 AIRCRAFT WITH FS2000 *.AIR FILES ONLY.

_______________________________________________________________________________

THANKS TO:

Sam Chin, who designed the great MD-82 FS2K *.air file that allows this panel to work.

Richard Probst, who designed the majority of the gauges used in this project.

Chuck Dome, for his great "GAUBMP2" program that allowed me to modify most of the gauge bitmaps.

Freeflight Design Shop and Bruno Kussler Marques for the Continental MD-82 aircraft.

A special thanks to the unknown gauge designers who made some of gauges in this project. I retained the designer's initials in the gauge name where it was known.
