Avro Ten TriMotor VH-UMF "Southern Cloud". For FS2000

This package is to represent the VH-UMF "Southern Cloud" which on the 01/01/1930 ANA Australian National Airways, (No connection to the later ANA formed years later), inaugurated its first Brisbane/Sydney service at 8 am from both capitals using this plane "Southern Cloud" from Mascot airport in Sydney to Brisbane, piloted by Kingsford Smith, and the VH-UMH "Southern Sky", which departed from Eagle Farm in Brisbane for Sydney.

The Southern Cloud disappeared on a flight from Sydney to Melbourne on the 21 march 1931 and wasn't found until the 26 October 1958, more than 27 years after it crashed in heavily timbered mountains on the western side of the Tooma River Gorge almost 4,500 ft above sea level, killing all 8 people on board.

I thank the many people who helped by supplying most of the material, information and encouragement used to make up this package, Joe & Doe Aircraft Unlimited for the original "Southern Cross" Fokker F.VIIb-3m, Dave Haskell for the panel bmp, J.L Stubs and Brian Kostick of Areoswine Research Corporation, Bill Lyons of Golden Wings, Dai Griffiths of DragonFlight Design, for many of the gauges used, and to the unknown authors of a few of the gauges. And Brian Ford for the paint job, and Peter Cokley for his research into the Avro and the "Southern Cloud" , and anyone else I may of unintensionally missed.

Installation.

Just unzip, and copy the Gauges to the main FS2000/gauge folder, and copy the Avro_Ten Aircraft folder into your Fs2000/Aircraft folder. Then start Fs2000 and choose the Avro ten and read the Check List in the kneepad for starting procedure, and the reference sheet, and enjoy your flight.
